who we are

This page is run by Celtic Heritage Kitchens & Interiors. We are the data controller for everything collected here, which means we decide what is collected and why.

celticheritagekitchens.co.uk is an advertising page for our kitchens. Our main website is celticheritageinteriors.co.uk and it has its own privacy policy, which covers that site. This page covers this one.

Lychee Lab is our marketing agency. They built this page, they run our Google advertising, and they receive enquiries from it on our behalf. They act on our instructions.

when you send us an enquiry

The form asks for what you would like to tell us about your kitchen, your postcode, your name, your telephone number and your email address.

Alongside that we record which button you used to open the form and which page you were on. If you arrived by clicking one of our adverts, we also record the click and campaign labels that Google adds to the web address (gclid, wbraid, gbraid and the utm tags). Those tell us which advert brought you here. They do not tell us who you are.

We use all of it for one thing: to get in touch about your kitchen and arrange a design visit. The lawful basis is that you have asked us to take steps before entering into a contract with you. We do not sell it and we do not add you to a marketing list.

Where it goes: the form is hosted by Netlify, who store the submission, and it is emailed to us. Netlify passes submissions through Akismet, a spam filter run by Automattic, so that a genuine enquiry can be told apart from junk before it reaches us.

How long we keep it: up to two years, so we can pick up a conversation that went quiet. After that we delete it.

cookies and measurement

Nothing for analytics or advertising is set until you choose. When this page loads, Google Analytics and Google Ads are switched off. They can see that a page has loaded, but no cookie is set and no identifier for you is created. That is how the page is built, not a promise about intentions, and anyone can check it in their own browser.

The banner offers Accept and Reject, side by side, at the same size. Neither is chosen for you.

If you accept:

• Google Analytics sets _ga and a second cookie beginning _ga_ on this website, lasting up to two years. They give your browser an anonymous number, so we can tell a returning visit from a new one and see which parts of the page people read.
• Google Ads sets _gcl_au and related _gcl cookies on this website, lasting up to three months. They let Google connect an enquiry back to the advert that was clicked, so we know which adverts are worth paying for. Google may also set its own cookies on google.com and doubleclick.net for advertising.

If you reject, none of those are set, and Google receives only a signal with no identifier in it.

You can change your mind at any time. Cookie choices, at the foot of every page, reopens the banner, and choosing again replaces your last answer. If you have not been asked for six months, we ask again.

who handles information for us

• Netlify, who host this page and store what the form receives.
• Automattic (Akismet), who filter spam out of the form.
• Google (Analytics, Tag Manager and Ads), for measurement and advertising, and only once you have accepted.
• Lychee Lab, our marketing agency, who run this page and our advertising.

These are international companies, so information may be handled outside the United Kingdom under the safeguards set out in their own terms.

your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. You can withdraw your cookie choice whenever you like, using the link above. Write to us at the address at the top of this page, or call 01792 816416.
