From the bench at Neath Abbey.
The workshop
you meet the people who make it
Celtic Heritage has been family run for over thirty years, out of two units on Neath Abbey Business Park. The same people draw your kitchen, build it and fit it.
There is no sales floor and no design department in another city. You talk to the people who will be cutting the timber, and you talk to them again when it is being fitted.
Carcasses, doors, drawers and dressers are all made on our own bench in Neath Abbey and painted before they leave. Nothing is bought in flat-packed and rebadged.
hand-painted, not sprayed
Brushed on coat by coat. A hand-painted finish can be touched in and recoated years later instead of replaced.
real in-frame joinery
Doors that sit inside the frame rather than on the face of it. It takes longer to make and you can feel the difference when you open one.
drawn around your room
Every kitchen starts from a measure of the room it is going in, so an awkward corner gets a cabinet made for it rather than a filler panel.
Come and see one on the bench before you order. It tells you more than any brochure will.
How it works
five steps, and the same people at each one
From the first measure to the last handle going on, your kitchen stays with us. It is not drawn in one place, made in another and fitted by somebody neither of us has met.
the design visit
We measure the room and talk through how you actually use it, what you cook, where the light falls, what annoys you about the kitchen you have now. Nothing gets drawn before that conversation.
The design visit is free.

02drawings and a price
You see the kitchen drawn out properly, and we change it until it is right. The price comes with the drawings, before anything is ordered or cut.
-
03made on our bench
Carcasses, doors, drawers and dressers are cut and built in our own workshop at Neath Abbey. Nothing is bought in flat-packed and rebadged.
-
04painted by hand
Brushed on coat by coat before it leaves us, not sprayed. It is the part of the kitchen you look at every day, so it is done properly rather than quickly.
-
05fitted by us
The people who made it are the people who put it in. Anything that wants adjusting on the day is adjusted by whoever built it, on the spot.
It starts with somebody standing in your kitchen with a tape measure.
From the workshop
let’s talk about your kitchen
Tell us what you are planning. We will talk through the room, the style and the budget, then come back to you with drawings and a price.
You will be dealing with the family who make it, from the first sketch to the last hinge.
